Bus Overturns in Kandhamal Claiming 3 Lives, 5 Injured

Phulbani: Three persons lost their lives and five others were seriously injured when a passenger bus overturned near Phiringia in Kandhamal district of Odisha on Tuesday night.

As per reports, the bus named ‘Salunki’ bus was on its way to Phulbani from Muniguda when it met with the accident. While negotiating a sharp curve, the driver of the bus lost control over the wheels and it overturned.

Three persons died on the spot in this accident. The injured were shifted to the district head quarter hospital in Phulbani. There were over 50 passengers in the bus when the accident occurred.
