Terrorists Fire at Army Camp in J-K’s Rajouri, Soldier Injured

Srinagar: A soldier of the Indian Army was injured when terrorists opened fire on a security post at a village in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning.

The terrorists targeted a sentry post of the Territorial Army at Galuthi village in Manjakote area at around 4 am. The security forces immediately retaliated.

The exchange of fire continued for over half an hour. The soldier was injured in the gunfight. The terrorists managed to escape into the nearby forest.

A search operation was launched to track down the escaped terrorists.
