Salman Khan House Firing: Mumbai Police File 1,735-Page Chargesheet Against Lawrence Bishnoi, 8 Others

Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Monday filed a massive 1,735-page charge sheet against six arrested accused and three wanted individuals, including notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in connection with the April shooting incident at actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence.

The charge sheet, submitted to a special MCOC court by the crime branch, details the investigation across three volumes. It incorporates statements from 46 witnesses, including those recorded before a magistrate under Section 164 of the CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure), the official said.

For a stronger case, the Mumbai Police have included crucial evidence such as confessional statements under the MCOC Act (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act), 22 panchnamas (documents recording the scene of the crime), and technical evidence.

On April 14, two unidentified men on a motorcycle fired five rounds towards Khan’s Galaxy Apartments building in Bandra. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident.
