Home Guard Shot At In Boudh’s Manamunda

Boudh: A miscreant shot at a home guard and injured him at Palsagora village under Manamunda police station limits in Boudh district on Saturday.

The injured home guard, identified as Bantu Kar received a bullet wound near his right knee. He was admitted to the Sonepur district headquarters hospital.

Police have identified the accused as one Sujit Khatua of Palsagora village. Personnel of Manamunda station have launched a probe into the incident.

According to reports, the assailant Sujit shot at home guard Bantu while the latter was trying to resolve a dispute between two groups.
