10-Year-Old Boy Dies In Maoist IED Explosion in Chattisgarh’s Bijapur

Raipur: A 10-year-old boy was killed in the explosion of a land mine explosion in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.

The deceased boy identified as Hidma Kabasi was seriously injured in the blast and was immediately admitted to Bijapur district hospital for treatment. He breathed his last during treatment.

According to Bijapur police, the child became prey to a landmine planted by the Maoists to target security personnel. This incident occurred on the first day of Martyrs Week observation by the Naxalites.
