3-Yr-Old Girl Killed in Tractor-Bike Accident in Nabarangpur District

Nabarangpur: A three-year-old girl died when a tractor and a bike collided near the Angi River Bridge under the Dabugaon block in Nabarangpur district. The father of the toddler was critically injured in the accident.

The deceased girl from Kanyasramguda was travelling with her father and five-year-old brother on a bike. Their two-wheeler was hit by a tractor near the Angi River bridge.

The two children were thrown off the vehicle and landed on the road. The three-year-old girl died on the spot, while her father was critically injured. But the boy escaped with minor injuries.

Local police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to the Dabugaon Community Health Centre, where the girl was declared dead. As her father’s condition deteriorated, he was shifted to the Nabarangpur District Headquarters Hospital.

Following the incident, locals blocked the Nabarangpur-Umarkote road along with the body of the deceased girl demanding adequate compensation to the bereaved family.
