Man Cuts Daughter-in-Law’s Nose During Quarrel in Cuttack Dist

Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a man slashed the nose of his daughter-in-law with a sharp weapon during a quarrel at Gobara under the Gurudijhatia police station in Cuttack district on Monday.

According to reports, the accused Amar Naik during a heated argument attacked his daughter-in-law with a sharp weapon. The injured woman has complained regarding it at the Gurudijhatia police station. She has been admitted to the Gurudijhatia Public Health Centre (PHC) for treatment.

Police have started an investigation into the matter. The accused has been detained for interrogation.  Naik.

According to sources, the accused allegedly beat up his granddaughter for playing with a knife. This led to a verbal spat between the girl’s mother and her accused father-in-law. In a fit of rage, the accused father-in-law attacked her with the same knife and cut her nose.
