Sunny Deol Ends Filming of Aamir Khan’s Lahore 1947 in 70-Day Shoot

Mumbai: Lahore 1947 being made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and by Rajkumar Santoshi with Sunny Deol in the lead has wrapped up its filming after an intense 70 days shooting schedule with no breaks.

The shooting for Lahore 1947 also included several crowd sequences as well as a grand climax involving a breathtaking train sequence. The film envisions to tell a story of the partition era with unparallel detail and intensity.

‘Lahore 1947’ will mark the reunion of Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Santoshi after ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. On the other hand, Santoshi and Sunny Deol have previously come up with blockbusters like ‘Ghayal,’ ‘Damini,’ and ‘Ghatak’.

Leading the cast of the movie are Sunny Deol and Preity G Zinta, who will play pivotal roles in this highly anticipated film. It also has Sunny’s elder son, Karan Deol playing a character named Javed.
