13-Yr-Old Girl Raped by Her Drunk Father in UP’s Amethi

Amethi: An inebriated man allegedly raped his 13-year-old daughter in Amethi.

The victim lodged a complaint against her erring father a week after the alleged rape. She claimed that she could not reach the police station as her mother died two days later, according to police.

In the complaint, the victim alleged that her father raped her while she was alone at home on August 8. She registered a police complaint on Wednesday (August 14) evening.

Her father has absconded. Police are making efforts to nab him. The victim’s mother, who was at her sister’s place in Delhi, passed away on August 10, police said.
