Ola Electric Launches Roadster Motorcycle Range in India, Starting at ₹74,999

Ola Electric has launched its latest electric motorcycle, the Roadster, in India, with prices beginning at ₹74,999.

The Roadster, which features a monolithic design, will be available in three variants: Roadster, Roadster X and Roadster Pro. Each variant offers different battery pack sizes, allowing buyers to choose based on their needs.

Ola has also announced that starting Q1 FY26, it will integrate its indigenously developed Bharat 4680 cell into its vehicles. Additionally, the company showcased its new Gen-3 platform, the MoveOS 5 operating system, and teased two upcoming electric motorcycles, the Sportster and Arrowhead.

1. Ola Roadster X:

– Motor output: 11 kW

– Battery options: 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh

– Acceleration (0-40 kmph): 2.8 seconds (4.5 kWh variant)

– Top speed: 124 kmph

– Range: 200 km (top variant)

– Key features: Combi Braking System (CBS), 4.3-inch LCD display, Sports/Normal/Eco modes, Ola Maps, Digital Key Unlock, and more.

2. Ola Roadster:

– Motor output: 13 kW

– Battery options: 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, 6 kWh

– Acceleration (0-40 kmph): 2 seconds (6 kWh variant)

– Top speed: 126 kmph

– Range: 248 km (top variant)

– Key features: 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen, proximity unlock, cruise control, AI-powered Krutrim Assistant, smartwatch app, four riding modes, and more.

3. Ola Roadster Pro:

– Motor output: 52 kW

– Battery: 16 kWh

– Acceleration (0-40 kmph): 1.2 seconds

– Top speed: 194 kmph

– Range: 579 km

– Key features: 10-inch TFT touchscreen, USD forks, two-channel switchable ABS, four riding modes, advanced digital tech features with MoveOS 5 and 6, including ADAS and race-track features.

Pricing and Availability

Reservations for all Roadster variants begin on August 15, 2024. Deliveries for the Roadster X and Roadster will start in FY25, while the Roadster Pro will be delivered in FY26. The motorcycles come with an 8-year warranty.
