NSA Invoked Against UP Man for Killing 2 Women, Having Sex With Dead Bodies

Lucknow: The Barabanki district administration invoked the National Security Act (NSA) against a man, who allegedly murdered two women and indulged in sexual activities with their bodies.

The NSA was invoked on Saturday against Amrendra Rawat (26), who was arrested last year for the two women’s murder in the Ramsanehi Ghat area of Barabanki.

According to reports, Rawat has confessed before the police that he killed the women and then performing sexual acts with the bodies.

On December 22, 2022, the body of a 60-year-old woman was discovered in a nearby forest in the Ramsanehi Ghat police station area. It was found that the woman was raped after murder. In December 2022, another similar incident was also reported.

Rawat was nabbed in January 2023, while he was attempting to kill another elderly woman in the adjoining Ayodhya district.
