7 Killed as Auto-Rickshaw on Way to Bageshwar Dham Crashes to Parked Truck in MP

Bhopal: Seven persons, including a one-year-old child, died and six others were injured when a speeding auto-rickshaw crashed into a parked truck from behind in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning.

The overcrowded CNG-run auto-rickshaw with 13 passengers was going towards Bageshwar on the Khajuraho-Jhansi highway. It met with the accident under the Civil Line police station limits at around 5 am.

The victims were going from Mahoba (in Uttar Pradesh) to Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur.
