Ex-BMC Engineer’s Assets Worth Rs 5.86 Cr to be Confiscated, Orders Vigilance Court Orders Confiscation Of

Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance Confiscation Court in Bhubaneswar has ordered for the confiscation of disproportionate assets worth over Rs 5.86 crore owned by Subash Chandra Mishra, a former engineer of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The properties to be confiscated include two double-storeyed buildings, one single-storeyed building, three plots in Bhubaneswar and Bhimpur, bank and insurance deposits, investments in shares, and 2.5 kg gold ornaments.

The Odisha Vigilance Directorate had moved the Confiscation Court for the confiscation of the assets of the former engineer of the BMC, which was granted by the court.
