AAP Kisan Wing Leader Shot Dead in Punjab, Main Accused Nabbed

Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kisan Wing President Tarlochan Singh alias DC was shot dead in Punjab’s Khanna on Monday evening.

The 56-year-old peasant leader was returning to his home at Ikolaha village from his farm when assailants shot him. He died on the spot. His body was found lying on the roadside. His son rushed him to a nearby hospital along with the help of locals, where doctors declared him dead.

According to The Tribune, the main accused who shot dead Tarlochan Singh DC, local president of AAP Kisan Wing, has been arrested within three hours of the shootout.

According to police sources, it was the result of a personal enmity and had nothing to do with politics.
