Jr NTR in Double Role, Saif as Villain in ‘Devara Part 1’; Watch Trailer

Mumbai: Jr NTR is seen in a double role in a face off against Saif Ali Khan in the action-packed trailer of Koratala Siva’s Devara Part 1. The much anticipated movie is to hit the theatres on September 27.

The two-minute-39-second-long trailer dropped on Tuesday starts by introduction of Saif’s character Bhaira, a gang leader and wrestling champion. His rule in a coastal town is threatened by Devara (Jr NTR). Bhaira plans to overthrow Devara and root himself as the most feared force in the region.

Then the trailer introduces Devara’s son Vara, also played by Jr NTR. Unlike Devara, Vara is is mild-mannered. “He only got his father’s looks, not his courage,” quips Janhvi Kapoor in the trailer.

As the trailer unfolds, Vara is forced to enter the fighting arena that he once feared. There is a larger-than-life action scene of Jr NTR flying out of the water on the back of a shark.

The movie also has Prakash Raj, Meka Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain and Murali Sharma in key roles. It is the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor.

This action drama will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
