Killer Wolf Injures Another Child in UP’s Bahraich

Lucknow: The man-eater wolf injured a 13-year-old child in a fresh wolf attack on Sunday night in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district.

The killer wolf attacked 13- year-old Armaan Ali, when he was asleep on the terrace of his home in Bharaich’s Mahis tehsil. He received injuries to his neck and shoulders. He was admitted to the Bharaich Medical College.  due to the seriousness of his injuries.

On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath conducted an aerial survey of the wolf attack suffering region and met families of those killed in the recent wolf attacks.

“The government has classified human-wildlife conflict as a disaster. In the event of loss of life, an immediate compensation of Rs 5 lakh is provided to the victim’s family. Anti-rabies treatment has also been made available for those injured in wild animal attacks,” the UP CM said.

According to the UP CM, 25 teams, comprising 165 personnel from the forest department and four thermal drones are being used to ensure public safety from wolf attacks.

More than ten people have been killed and more than 35 injured in the wolf attacks in the Bahraich district of UP.
