Father, Son Injured as Miscreants Hurl Bombs in Puri

Puri: A man and his son were injured when some miscreants allegedly attacked them and hurled bombs at Nali Padia area under the Baliapanda police station limits in Puri town on Tuesday.

The injured persons identified as Sandip Sanyal and his son Mrutyunjay Sanya have been admitted to the Puri district headquarters hospital.

According to reports, some miscreants attacked Mrutyunjay and also attacked his father when he tried to save him. Later, the attackers hurled bombs at their house. The father and son were injured in the attack as well as bombing.

Though the exact reason behind the attack is not ascertained, it is suspected that it may be due to some past enmity.
