Pet Dog Only Survivor as 5 of Family Die in Road Accident in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Five members of a single family died when their car met with an accident near Gudemaranahalli village in Magadi taluk of Ramanagar district of Karnataka on Tuesday. However, their pet dog travelling in the car survived the deadly accident.

The deceased were from the Kunigal town in Tumakuru district. They were travelling to a temple after attending a family function. While travelling from Magadi towards Bengaluru, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the car hit a roadside tree.

The bodies of two men and three women were recovered from the crashed car. All of them died on the spot despite the airbags’ release hinting that over-speeding was the cause of the accident.

The pet dog rescued alive was taken to a veterinary hospital for treatment.
