3 Of A Family Allegedly Consume Poison On Train in Puri Dist; Hospitalized

Bhubaneswar: Three members of a family were rescued in critical condition from a train at Kanas Road railway station in Puri district and were admitted to a nearby hospital. They reportedly consumed poison while travelling on the train.

The trio have been identified as Raju Mandal from the Jashipur area of Mayurbhanj district, his wife, and his daughter. They were travelling to Puri.

For some reason, they reportedly consumed poison and developed serious symptoms of poisoning. They were rescued at Kanasa Road station and were taken to the Delang Hospital for treatment.

Later, they were shifted to the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Police are investigating the reason behind this suspected incident of poisoning.
