2 Yr-Old Rescued from Borewell Pit After 20 Hr Operation in Rajasthan

Jaipur: A two-year-old girl named Neeru Gurjar was rescued from a pit near a borewell in Bandikui in Rajasthan’s Dausa after an operation that lasted over 20 hours.

She fell into the pit on Wednesday. The rescue operation continued throughout the night. Neeru was stuck in the pit at a depth of 26 feet. The rescue teams dug near the 31 feet deep pit and inserted a 20-foot-long pipe towards the girl. During the operation, the mother of the girl spoke to her daughter through a mike.

After being taken out the girl was rushed to a hospital.

The accident occurred at the Jodhpuriya village of Bandikui. The two-year-old girl fell into the 35-feet-deep pit at around 5 pm. Teams of the NDRF and SDRF were involved in the rescue operation.
