144 Students Paid Money to Get Leaked NEET-2024 Papers: CBI Chargesheet

Patna: In its third chargesheet in the NEET paper leak case filed before the Special Court for CBI cases in Patna, it has identified 144 candidates who had allegedly paid to get NEET-UG leaked and solved papers hours before they were to take the exam.

In its third chargesheet, the CBI has also mentioned names of 21 accused.

In the over 5,500 pages chargesheet, the CBI investigation has revealed that the question paper was stolen on May 5, 2024, from the control room of OASIS School, Hazaribagh. The question papers were stolen after trunks containing them arrived there from the bank vault.

The agency has listed 298 witnesses, 290 documents and 45 material objects in the chargesheet. So far, 49 people have been arrested in this case, with charges filed against 40 of them.
