11 Killed 12 Injured Truck Rams Into Parked Bus in Rajasthan

Jaipur: At least 11 persons died and a dozen others were injured when a speeding truck rammed into a bus on National Highway in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district on Wednesday morning. The deceased included six women.

The ill-fated bus was travelling from Rajasthan’s Pushkar to Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. The accident occurred around 4.30 am.

The bus had developed a technical snag and had to halt on the Antra flyover in the Lakhanpur area. The bus was standing on the highway while its repairing work was going on. Some passengers were in the bus while some were standing outside when the speeding truck rammed into the vehicle.

Five men and six women died on the spot.
