13 Indians Among 16 Missing Crew Members of Capsized Oil Tanker

Thirteen Indians are among the 16-member crew of an oil tanker that capsized off the coast of Oman.

According to Oman’s maritime authority, the tanker capsized 25 nautical miles southeast of Ras Madrakah in the Wilayat of Duqm. A search and rescue operation is continuing in the area. The crew of the oil tanker named ‘Prestige Falcon’ included 13 Indians and 3 Sri Lankans. It was heading towards the Yemeni port city of Aden after departing from the port of Hamriya, in Dubai.
