2 Odisha Teachers to Receive National Teachers’ Awards 2024

Bhubaneswar: In a proud moment for Odisha, two teachers from the state have been chosen for the esteemed National Teachers’ Awards 2024.

Dwiti Chandra Sahu from Govt High School Billesu and Santosh Kumar Kar from Jaya Durga High School, Narla Road, will receive this honour for their outstanding contributions to education and student learning.

The awards will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony scheduled for September 5 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Each award includes a certificate of merit, a cash prize of ₹50,000 and a silver medal. A total of 50 teachers will be recognised at this event.
