2 Shooters Arrested from Goa in Haryana INLD Chief Rathee Murder Case

Chandigarh: Two shooters were arrested from Goa in connection with the murder of Haryana Indian National Lok Dal’s (INLD) chief Nafe Singh Rathee.

According to Haryana’s Jhajjar police, both these shooters were rounded up in Goa in a joint operation of Haryana’s Jhajjar police, Delhi Police Special Cell and the Haryana Special Task Force (STF).

The accused were identified as Saurav and Ashish. They are from Delhi and are suspected to be linked to the UK-based Kapil Sangwan gang.

Police are searching for two other shooters involved in the crime.

The Haryana INLD chief Rathee was shot dead on February 25 by some gunmen near the railway crossing at Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar. Rathee and a party worker were killed in the shootout.

On February 28, Kapil Sangwan, a gangster based in the United Kingdom, claimed responsibility for Rathee’s murder.
