3 Cops Including A DSP Suspended for Feasting At Goon’s Home in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Three police officers including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) were suspended as they were found feasting at a goon’s residence during a surprise raid.

MG Sabu, the DSP of the Alappuzha Crime Branch, was discovered hiding in the bathroom of the house.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who is also the Home Minister of Kerala, ordered the suspension of these three police officers.

The team of Angamaly police raided the house of the alleged criminal gang leader Thammanan Faisal on Monday evening as part of ‘Operation AAG (Action Against Goons)’.

The raiding team found the four officers attending a feast organised by the goon. The officers included one from the Vigilance Department, who has not been suspended yet due to procedural formalities.

The Kerala government has ordered the Aluva Rural SP to submit a report on the incident.
