3 Police Officers Transferred For Beating Up Woman at Police Station in Bhadrak Dist

Bhadrak: The Bhadrak SP transferred three police officials of the Chandbali police station to the district police headquarter office because of allegation of police atrocity on a woman. According to reports, two cases have been registered in relation to the case, one by the victim and the other by the police department.

According to reports, the three police officers allegedly beat up the woman with a plastic pipe in front of Chandbali Police Station. They also held her by her hands and legs and threw her to the ground. The visual of their alleged inhuman act is making rounds on the social media.

The woman along with her child was at the Chandbali police station to meet her husband. The child was playing with a shoe cover at the police station. While playing, the shoe cover fell in front of the police station and a constable on duty asked the woman to pick up.

When the woman refused to pick up the shoe cover, she was slapped by the constable. When she protested against the physical assault by the said constable, two more cops joined the constable assault the woman by knocking her to the ground.

As per the reports, an ASI and two constables were involved in the lawless act. The woman is said to be an inhabitant of the Chandbali NAC area.
