Father & Son hack each Other in Bhadrak, Son Dead

Bhadrak: During a violent tussle over a family dispute, a man hacked his son to death at Sunagadia village under the Bonth police station in Bhadrak district on Wednesday.

The father was also seriously injured by the son.

Madhav Barik and his son Sankarsan had a heated altercation while having their lunch on Wednesday afternoon. Their verbal tussle turned violent as both of them used sharp weapons to attack each other.

While Sankarshan died on the spot during the violent fight, his father was critically injured.

Madhav was rushed to the local hospital for treatment. Later he was shifted to the the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Local police have started an investigation into the incident.
