Drunkard Man Kills Wife, Chops Body Into Pieces, In Boudh Dist

Boudh: A man allegedly hacked his wife to death with a sharp weapon and chopped her body into pieces at Brundaban village under Boudh Town police station in Boudh district.

The deceased was identified as Ambruti Nag. Her accused husband Sanatan Nag has absconded after committing the gruesome murder.

The couple lived at the Tikira Sahi area of Brundaban village. According to locals, Sanatan was a habitual drunkard and was regularly involved in quarrels with his wife. He was also beating his wife now and then.

On Tuesday night, as usual, Sanatan returned home under the influence of alcohol and got involved in a violent tussle with his wife. In a rage, he used a sharp weapon to attack his wife and hacked her to death. According to sources, after killing the woman, he also chopped her body into more than 20 pieces.

The horrific crime came to the fore on Wednesday morning when neighbours noticed blood flowing out of the house. They called up the police.

Police personnel broke open the door of the house and recovered chopped body of Ambriti. A search is on to nab the culprit.
