13-Yr-Old Girl, Her Boyfriend Nabbed for Killing Landlord in UP’s Lucknow

Lucknow: A 13-year-old girl and her boyfriend were detained by Lucknow police in relation to a three-month-old murder case. The minor girl and her 19-year-old boyfriend were found to have murdered her landlord, who was allegedly harassing her.

The accused were identified as Bunty Kashyap and his minor girlfriend.

Police have also seized the murder weapon.

According to police, the body of the deceased Shyam Chandra Gupta (56) was discovered in a drain in the River Bank Colony in the Wazirganj area on March 3.

According to initial investigation by the police, the deceased was allegedly sexually harassing the minor girl. Irked by his action, the minor and her lover Bunty decided to eliminate the landlord. The minor girl allegedly slit the throat of Gupta.

She and her boyfriend stuffed the body in a bedsheet cover and threw it into the drain behind the house.
