12-Yr-Old Boy Booked for Killing Student in Maharashtra

Mumbai: A 12-year-old boy was booked on Thursday in connection with the death of a school student in Thane in January 2023.

According to police sources, the accused child was 10 years old at the time of the incident. On January 11, 2023, he had a quarrel with the victim. Both were students of the same school. The accused allegedly pushed the deceased to the ground and strangled him.

Police have not arrested the child in the case. But a case under Indian Penal Code section 302 was registered on the complaint of the deceased’s father at the Kapurbawdi police station in Maharashtra.
