Condoms, Gutkha, Stones Found In Samosas in Pune, 5 Arrested

Pune: Five people were booked by police when condoms, gutkas and stones were allegedly found in samosas supplied to a major automobile company based in Pimpari Chinchwad in Pune.

According to the police, the accused included two workers of a subcontracting firm that supplied the samosas as well as three partners of another firm whose contract was cancelled earlier by the company.

Investigation revealed that out of the five accused, the three partners had allegedly planted the other two workers to defame the firm that had gotten the fresh contract.

A case has been registered under IPC sections 328 (causing harm by means of poison) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). Further investigation into the matter is underway.
