PM Modi Vows to Prevent Religious Allocation of Reservations Meant for SCs, STs, OBCs

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his stance against Congress-led state governments, asserting his opposition to extending reservations to Muslims based on religion.

Speaking at a rally in Telangana’s Zaheerabad, PM Modi vowed to safeguard reservations intended for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes from being allocated to Muslims.

He accused the Congress of jeopardizing constitutional principles for electoral gains and slammed the Karnataka government for including Muslims in the state’s OBC list.

PM Modi condemned what he described as Congress’s indulgence in vote-bank politics, highlighting its alleged disregard for religious sentiments. He cited instances like the purported ban on Ram Navami processions in Hyderabad as evidence of Congress’s divisive tactics.

Additionally, PM Modi warned against the economic policies of the Congress, cautioning against the imposition of a 55% inheritance tax if the party were to come into power. He emphasized the need to maintain progress under the NDA government, contrasting it with the policy paralysis experienced during the previous UPA govt.
