8 Including 7 from Nepal Die After Vehicle Falls into Gorge in Uttarakhand’s Nainital

Nainital: At least eight people died and three others were seriously injured after their vehicle fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand’s Nainital district on Monday night.

This accident occurred in the Betalghat area of Nainital. The ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Nepal.

Except one, all other deceased were from Nepal, police sources said.

As per the initial findings, at around 10.30 pm, driver Rajendra Kumar, a resident of Baskot village in Uttarakhand, lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into a 200-metre deep gorge.
