Crossing Road Turns Fatal, Couple Run Over by Speeding Truck in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A couple was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Palasuni Square in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, a man and his wife met with the accident while they were crossing the road. All of a sudden a speeding truck hit them. The truck ran over the woman, killing her on the spot.

The driver of the truck did not stop after committing the accident. The truck dragged the man for nearly one kilometer towards Satya Vihar area. He also breathed his last.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Police have reached the spot for investigation. , police reached the spot and initiated a probe.
