3 Sisters Discovered Dead in a Trunk in Punjab

Jalandhar: Bodies of three missing sisters were found packed inside a trunk in the house of a family in Kanpur village of Jalandhar district in Punjab.

Parents of these girls, who are migrant labourers, reported their missing on Sunday night at Maqsudan police station. This family of the migrant labourer had five children.

The three dead children were identified as Kanchan (4), Shakti (7), and Amrita (9).

The father of these children discovered their bodies while shifting some items in the house. When he opened the trunk, he was startled to find his dead children.

Investigation is on to find out the killer of these children. According to investigating police officials, the father of the girls had recently received an ultimatum from his landlord to vacate the house over his drinking habit.
