37-Yr-Old Telangana MLA Lasya Nandita Dies in Road Accident

Hyderabad: The 37-year-old first-time MLA from Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Lasya Nandita died in a tragic road accident in Hyderabad on Friday. She was critically injured when her vehicle lost control and collided with the road divider.

She was rushed to a hospital, where she died. The driver involved in the crash is critically injured.

On Feb 13, Lasya Nandita survived another accident in Narkatpally with some minor injuries, while she was travelling to Nalgonda to attend a rally. A home guard deputed to her died in the accident.

Lasya Nandita, served as a corporator from Kavadiguda since 2016. She was MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment. After her father G Sayanna’s death in 2023, Lasya was entrusted with the responsibility of carrying forward his legacy. In the November 2023 assembly elections, she secured a victory.
