50Kg Gold, 2 Quintal Silver Worth Rs 30 Cr Seized from Containers in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The officials of the CT & GST department on Monday seized around Rs 30 crore worth gold and silver from two container vehicles near Bhubaneswar airport.

According to initial reports, the seized precious metals included around 50 kilograms of gold and around two quintals of silver. The value of the seized gold and silver is said to be around Rs 30 crore. Officials are investigating the source and ownership of the seized gold and silver.
