Airstrike Killed Hamas Aerial Commander, Claim Israel Defence  Forces

The Israel Defense Forces on Saturday claimed that Murad Abu Murad, the head of Hamas’s aerial array was killed in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip on Friday night, reported The Times of Israel.

Murad was a senior member of the Hamas terror group. According to the Israel Defense Forces, this airstrike targeted a headquarters from which Hamas managed its aerial activity.

Abu Murad “took a big part in directing terrorists during the massacre” last weekend, which included attackers who entered Israel from the air on hang gliders, The Times of Israel said.

Hamas launched a wave of attacks on Israel on Saturday, killing more than 1,300 people in Israel. The Israeli counter-airstrikes have killed more than 1,530 people in Gaza. Israel has claimed roughly 1,500 Hamas militants were killed inside Israel.
