BSF Thwarts Smuggling Attempt: Drone, Heroin Seized Near Indo-Pak Border

Amritsar: In a joint operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police successfully seized a drone and heroin near the India-Pakistan border in the Amritsar district.

Acting on specific intelligence, BSF personnel conducted a targeted search operation in Kahangarh village, leading to the successful recovery of a China-made drone and a packet containing approximately 557 grams of heroin.

The recovered drone and narcotics will be handed over to the concerned authorities for further investigation.
