BJP-TDP-Jana Sena Alliance For 2024 Lok Sabha Polls Finalised: Reports

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reportedly reached seat-sharing agreements with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), led by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, and Jana Sena, led by actor Pawan Kalyan, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Sources suggest that the alliance, aimed at both electoral fronts, could see the national party contesting approximately six to eight Lok Sabha seats and 10 to 12 Assembly seats.

In the previous elections five years ago, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party emerged as the dominant force, securing 22 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats and 151 out of 175 Assembly segments. In contrast, the BJP, which contested independently, failed to secure any seats in either election.
