Case Against 3 WB Raj Bhavan Officials for “Restraining” Woman Who Accused Guv of Molestation

Kolkata: An FIR was lodged against three officials of the West Bengal Raj Bhavan for allegedly restraining the woman, who accused West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose of molesting her.

The FIR was registered against the three Raj Bhavan officials at the Hare Street police station. The woman, a contractual employee of Raj Bhavan has recorded her statement before a magistrate in the molestation case.

Under Article 361 of the Constitution, no criminal proceedings can be instituted against a governor during his term in office.
