Congress Poised for Majority in Haryana: Exit Polls

Chandigarh: The Congress and its allies are set for a strong performance in the Haryana Assembly election, according to exit poll reports.

In Haryana, the Congress is projected to secure a full majority, winning 50-58 seats in the 90-member Assembly. This is a massive improvement from the party’s 31 seats in the 2019 polls. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), aiming for a third consecutive victory, is likely to see its seat count drop to 20-28, down from 40 in the previous election.

The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), which won 10 seats in 2019, is predicted to face a steep decline, potentially securing just 0-2 seats this time.
