Couple Ends Life Over Trivial Domestic Dispute in Koraput District

Koraput: A woman and her husband committed suicide one after another in Balipadar village under Baipariguda police limits in Odisha’s Koraput district on Wednesday night, following a domestic quarrel.

According to sources, the deceased couple, Jinu Parja and his wife Rukmini Parja had three sons. It is alleged that on Wednesday, the couple had a heated argument over some domestic issues. After that Rukmini locked herself in a room. When she did not open up the door for long, the family members broke open the door and found Rukmini hanging from the ceiling.

This shocked Jinu, who rushed out of the house and did not return till late at night. Later, he was found hanging from a tree near the house.
