Couple Murdered in House in Sambalpur’s Rairakhol

Sambalpur: A couple was killed inside their home at Pandirisala village under Rairakhol police limits in Sambalpur. The deceased were identified as Abraham Kujur and his wife Kuanri Kujur.

Both were killed by sharp weapons. It is suspected that the miscreants entered their house on Saturday night to commit the double murder.

The deceased Abraham and his wife were staying with the family of his brother in the house.

Locals say that Abraham’s family had some dispute with his brother-in-law. The reason behind the double murder has not been ascertained.

On being informed about the double murder, Rairakhol IIC Sabita Lata and SDPO Prasanta Kumar Meher reached the spot and have started an investigation into the matter.
