Delhi Court Rejects BRS Leader K Kavitha’s Interim Bail Plea

New Delhi: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday rejected BRS leader K Kavitha’s interim bail petition in the money laundering case related to the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam. .

Kavitha was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 15. She is accused of paying Rs 100 crore to the AAP in lieu of liquor licenses in Delhi.

Kavitha’s regular bail application is also pending before the court for a hearing on April 20.

Kavitha is the daughter of former Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao. She has denied the allegations made against her by the ED and has termed her arrest a political conspiracy ahead of the elections.
