Divyangs to be Provided Special Arrangement for Darshan at Puri Jagannath Temple

Puri: To enhance facilities for the divyang devotees visiting the Jagannath Temple in Puri, there will be special arrangements very soon. The differently-abled devotees will be provided easier entry into the temple.

According to reports, detachable ramps will be installed near the inner entrance of the temple to facilitate smoother access for the divyang pilgrims.

The Odisha Setu Construction Corporation (OBCC) has already come up with model of the detachable ramp that will be used at the Jagannath temple in Puri.

Puri District Collector Siddharth Shankar announced that a dedicated time slot is being planned to allow differently-abled devotees a hassle-free darshan of Lord Jagannath.

The temple management is planning to implement measures to ensure darshan by all devotees in a disciplined manner and improvement of facilities at the Anand Bazar, where prasad is sold.
