Pune: England clinched their second victory in the World Cup, dominating the Netherlands with a resounding 160-run win on Wednesday. Opting to bat first, England posted a formidable total of 339 for 9 and then bowled out the Dutch for just 179 runs in 37.2 overs, keeping their hopes of qualifying for the Champions Trophy 2025 alive.

England’s batting lineup finally found some form, with Ben Stokes leading the charge with a brisk 84-ball century (108), supported by Dawid Malan (87) and Chris Woakes (51), both contributing fifties to the total.

In response, Teja Nidamanuru was the highest scorer for the Netherlands with an unbeaten 41, while Wesley Barresi (37), Sybrand Engelbrecht (33), and Scott Edwards (38) failed to capitalize on their promising starts.
