Ex-Mayor of Malegaon, AIMIM Leader Shot At in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Abdul Malik Mohammed Yunus Isa, the former mayor of Maharashtra’s Malegaon was shot by unidentified attackers on Monday morning.

Malik is a leader of Asaduddin Owaisi’s All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party. According to reports, he suffered three bullet wounds. He was admitted to a hospital in Nashik.

Malik sustained bullet injuries on the left side of his chest, left thigh, and right hand.

This firing incident occurred at 1:20 am while Malik was seated outside a shop on Old Agra Road. No arrests have been made so far.
