For Ind Vs Pak T20 WC Match, Rs 1 Lakh for Parking, Rs 8 Lakh for Ticket!

One would have to spend a fortune to watch the T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York on June 9 (Sunday).

According to former cricketer and commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu recently said during the commentary that fans would have to pay $1,200 US dollars (about Rs 1,00,000) for parking near the stadium. He claimed that his driver informed him about the parking fee, reported The Tribune.

The stadium has a capacity of 34,000 people. But all tickets are priced exorbitantly as per the Indian standards.

The costliest tickets are that of the Diamond Club with the seats being placed right behind the wicket. Each ticket of this air-conditioned enclosure is said to be $10,000, which is around 8.3 lakh in Indian rupees. The guests will get access to meeting cricket legends and pre-match field access as well.
